Welcome!
I am an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity at the Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business at the University of Dallas since Fall 2019.
I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2009. I was fortunate to be advised by Sirin Tekinay and Grace Wang. My dissertation on clustered wireless sensor networks analyzed the role of coverage arising from random clustered deployments on the design and performance of wireless sensor networks.
My current research interests focus on cybersecurity, cryptocurrencies and computational social science. I use tools from machine learning, stochastic programming and game theory in my research, and I am excited about the outcomes of combining social sciences and computer networks.
I received my Masters in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology where I researched mobile ad hoc networks. My interests in networking arose from an elective -Wireless Networks- that I took in my senior year of undergraduate school at Manipal Institute of Technology.
I am the Founder and CEO of a new blockchain startup, WildChain.
